Here's a fantastic idea for a new Spirit of Steam route: the original Transcontinental Railroad set in the late 1860s-1870s. The route could include Promontory Point in Utah and the UP tracks over the Wasatch Mountains. TSW2 players could experience running old 4-4-0 American Steam Locos. TS Classic has a version of this route, so it could be possible. -Features: -4-4-0 American Steam Locos: include UP 119 and CP "Jupiter," as well as a couple other engines. -1860s-era freight and passenger cars -Coupling to rolling stock could require players to put the pins in to hold the cars together. -Advanced braking simulation (no air brakes in 1869) -Passengers and workers would have clothing that matches the time period. This route would be amazing to see in TSW2.
