I have a long term interest in Train Simulator and its earlier and related incarnations. Building routes for my own amusement and to preserve rapidly vanishing history has been my obsession. The English "Midland" line from St Pancras to Bedford was in the background of my childhood in the 1940s. I have reconstructed most of what was there in the 40s and it is a lot lot more than is there now. I now live in Canberra Australia and have been fascinated by the route from Goulburn to Bombala. I have reconstructed now mainly lost roue from Google earth and old maps. Some of the gradients and curve diameters are clearly wrong but the main outline of the route is correct. I have in general not added trackside features as that takes a lot of addition work. If any one is interested in either of the above I would be more than ready to share them if I knew how.
