Just wondering which station has the longest platform and what trains has anybody been able to squeeze onto this line?(If i'm remembering correctly it's platform length that determines what kind of train you can get to fit)

I'm pretty sure Ryde Pier Head is the longest at 103 metres in the scenario planner, although, thinking about it, Ryde St John's Road may be slightly longer. Yeah, you're correct on that, the length of your initial platform or siding determines the maximum length of your consist.

On the senario edtior it's clear that the longest platform is not ryde pier head, the 1972 stock won't fit there, but a youtuber did get it to fit at(sanddown)but sanddown platforms still has abit more platform space left so what this platform total length,(before i might buy sooner then later this route i need a platform thats atleast 127meters long(Then i can get a frieght train on the line it's a short one of course and it's german, because they get all the best train options)

Better yet can anyone post a screenshot from IOW senario planner station list this also shows platforms length,That might just be the easiest way to know what this line can support.

Thank You very much, well i guess no freight trains are going here, but the class 08/09 might be possibilities when NTP heavy freight pack someday is added a short rake of 2 axle wagons with a 08 might be a option.

If you don't mind what type of freight train, I think you could have a 66 with 5 wagons.

East Coastway is definitely worth buying if you see it in a sale, but as you say that may be a while. I think it's the best route in TSW2020 with very few bugs and it's a well built route which runs very smoothly, this combined with the vast amount of services make it a great route. Although it's got some sound bugs and braking performance issues in TSW2, I'm hoping they'll be fixed in the near future.

Hmm does the 377/4 have a single twin train set that will fit on the IOW line?

A single 4 car 377 is 82 metres long so it can be used from most stations on the island, I've done a run along the line using the 377 in the scenario planner.
