This steam line runs on the Isle of Wight and goes through 5.5 miles from Smallbrook to Wootton with 4 stations. This line has one depot at Havenstreet. The route: I mentions the length above so lets get ready for some stations. Smallbrook Junction: This station has 2 platforms (1 for the island line and one for the steam railway) and has: 2 tph on the Island Line (I might be wrong with those statistics) and as the Steam Railway is mostly Volunteered it dose not have a set amount of tph. Ashey: This station has 1 platforms and only serves the Steam Railway. Havenstreet: This station has 2 platforms and only serves the steam railway. Wootton: This station has 1 platform and is the terminus for the steam railway. Rolling Stock: There is a LOT to get through so lets begin. LB&SCR A1: This train was built by Brighton Works from 1872-1880 and has a length of 7.94 metres. LSWR 02: This train was built by by William Adams and was built between 1889-1896 and has a length of 9.360 metres. Hunslet Austerity 0-6-OST: This train was built by Hunslet Engine Company and was built between 1943-1964 and has a length of 9.25 metres. LMA Ivatt Class 2 This train was built by H.G. Ivan as was built from 1946-1952 and has a length of 11,82 metres. Pricing: Now this is the most important thing for whether this route would be good or bad not gona lie. Id say hopefully its an extension dlc like the Reigate dlc for Train Simulator and it would be around 8-15 pounds but it could be different as it is the developers choice. POV: Smallbrook to Havenstreet Havenstreet to Wooton Conclusion: I think this would be a fun way to add on to the IOW line which (If im being honest) can get a bit lackluster. This dlc while yes people might complain "Ooooh its in southern england waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Im going to be honest, Dovetail is stationed in Southern England. I do believe this would be a great addition which would give us more steam.
A bit short. Now Spirit Of Steam is coming, how about a complete IOW steam network as it was prior to the Beeching cuts, including both lines in to Ventnor. Should be do-able in the scope of a TSW route.
What a fantastic suggestion. I can't see why the whole network shouldn't be included. The Island used to have railway lines to many places as opposed to the current A to B route. This could well be possible as a single dlc.

This part of the route was included with the island line when it was released on TS why didn’t they keep it for TSW If this gets released include the island line The Smallbrook to Wootton part should start at Ryde pier head platform 2

lucasfor49 It might be the new steam route that's rivet route. If you haven't heard, in the code it says "Steam" so it might be this.
