The IOW for some time hasn't allowed anyone to be able to uses any of there costum liveries, and rivets games has put fixing it on there not to worried about it now list, now dtg surprisingly had the same issuse but dispite all there other projects got it fixed, yet RG hasn't.so with RG 1938 tube stock being the same train why should anyone trust RG to not care about it if it livery useability goes south to?

I suppose the obvious reply is that it is not the same train. If it was, it would be released by now.

The 483s that ran on the IOW used the 1938 stock as a base and heavily modified it. In order to get the original train right, they will need to rebuild it from the ground up. Therefore, there is no reason to assume that custom liveries won’t work on these any more than with the Arosalinie trains. I won’t be using it myself though. The original red livery is so iconic and is what I grew up with. Same with the moquette and wooden floors.

Agreed though that they need to sort out the IOW problem ASAP.
