The Ironton railroad operated in Eastern Pennsylvania in Coplay, Allentown, Northampton, etc. It had two Baldwin DD-4-4-1000 locomotives and many retired steam engines, this railroad had a 7 mile loop to serve many slate and cement company’s, it connected with the C&F(became Reading), Lehigh Valley, CNJ and the L&NE railroads. This line also had a sour line that was at least 12 miles long. The irony in would be a perfect small industrial railroad and served a lot of businesses. I feel that this line would work well and would be a nice American line. If you make this, you need to have both the loop and spur, hence the hay day of the railroad.
