The 7 train known as the Flushing Line currently today runs between 34th Street-Hudson Yards in Chelsea, Manhattan to Flushing-Main Street In Flushing, Queens but in 2010 before 34th Street-Hudson Yards was built, The 7 ran between Times Square-42nd Street to Flushing-Main Street. The 7's fleet back in the old days used to be the Bluebirds & Redbird subway cars, however those cars retired in 2003 making there last trip on this line. Around the mid or late 1980s the 7 started using R62A type cars built by Bombardier Transportation in 1984-1987. The 7 train runs about 11 car trains with 51 foot long cars & has 3 doors.
