Hello. Since when was Iryo a thing and how many more countries is Italy/Frecciarossa going to conquer before it’s finished. My money is on a New line That goes from Rome straight to Munich next? And maybe extend to Eurostar services from London -> Paris to London -> Milan, then maybe an Intercontinental route on the NEC. All jokes aside well done to Italy expanding their Network across the whole of Europe. . We just need the Madrid -> Barcelona route to Extend to an Italian city for a great long 1,000+km route
That means SFS Franzfeste Innsbruck Rosenheim Munchen Hbf. For Italian trains on DB OBB PZB LZB ETCS, you must play them on consoles that you need the Keyboard plugged into the PS4/PS5 Xbox Series X/S from the System change station to Rosenheim via Innsbruck Hbf. Otherwise, you will need to find the PZB LZB buttons on the cab. Italian 3kv DC pantograph is the same width as a Luzern Sursee 1.45m 15kv 16.7hz pantograph. Meaning your copper strip can work on SBB CFF FFS tracks but lose contact on DB OBB 15kv 16.7hz
Not a fan of privatisation generally but Spain's opening up of its high speed lines to tender is a good thing. RENFE's service is fine, but incredibly expensive, quite inflexible and runs some very strange timetables. I'm looking forward to SNCF and RENFE fighting over passengers on the Paris-Barcelona route, it's crazy there's only two trains a day given they're always booked up. To answer your question though, the first non RENFE operators began in October or September last year iirc, with Iryo joining in November. I *wish* Trenitalia were bringing their high speed trains across all of Europe, honestly, but it does remain a small corner for now! I think Rome to Munich is a bit of a stretch though, too many sections of slower running to bother with a Frecciarossa set.
