Probably figured this would be the best place to ask, although I know this is a very loose attachment to PC Discussion of TSW2... I have a T.Flight Hotas X and use the thruster for Rail Simulation games. The problem is, I have to have the whole joystick setup and would just like to use the thruster alone. Is it possible to detatch this in anyway? I have seen similar things done previously with other Thrustmaster cheap sticks and wondered if anyone has any experience with this?
A quick online search shows 2 screws at the bottom to separate the throttle but I don't think you can fully disconnect the stick.
If it's like mine, you can unscrew a couple of Allen bolts so you can take the throttle part from the joystick and have them opposite sides of your keyboard. There is a fairly short electrical cable wrapped inside the base, connecting the two halves. This prevents you having them too far apart.
