I've had two instances on here where I have split the caboose in the line where I should at the place I should. I've then moved the F7 up the track away from it, back down the line and split 12 wagons off. I've then come back up the line to a red signal because another train is coming. It then comes down my line to the caboose and thats it. Scenario broke. I've tried a second time and it wont let me. Location below if it helps pass as off track allegedly yet not according to map.
You have to be fairly quick doing this part. If you take your time and walk to do the uncoupling tasks then you can end up in this situation. It’s likely to happen if you are ‘playing through’ each part as you will then be starting later too. I’ve completed the whole turn three times without issue so it is definitely possible but I made sure I started part 7 from the menu and set about it fairly sharpish.
That's bizarre. I started it from Journey mode and it's just not playing ball. It appears to be the stopping and disconnecting the caboose which is the issue as it then blocks the F7 coming the other way.
Just to confirm i've tried a third time tonight. It's not broke. I was dawdling too much. Cheers all.
