Is it worth $15 for IOW during the sale? Im curious if those who’ve had a bad experience with it would still buy it for $14.99.
I personally like IOW. The route is different and has a Tube train. It is a laid back route and imo interesting and fun.
It's a fun little route let down by frustrating immersion-breaking bugs that, many months later, still haven't been fixed by Rivet. Just a few examples: - AI trains operate with zero lights (internal or external) at night - Virtually zero rain ever hits the driver's window, even in the worst possible weather - The sea texture is truly awful - way worse than any other water featured on any other route. Custom Liveries don't currently work, but this will be fixed post RH. Maybe try a couple of services - one at night and another in rain to see if those are deal breakers for you within the Steam 2 hour refund period, so you can make an informed decision. I hope they will but if Rivet don't fix these issues, I dearly hope Adam's team will fix these bugs, as it can be a fun ride.
Just to add I agree with everything said here. Rivet do need to be pushed to fix these bugs and I hope they will but I still say for the money it is worth it. You will find many routes sadly in TSW2 that still have issues after many months, they seem to like churning routes out but not fixing them, we can only hope they get round to it.
I was looking through the sale earlier and nearly bought a new train but realised I’m not playing SEHS a lot currently so got about 12 tracks on automobolista 2 for some vr racing for same price. I’m holding the shrapnel until rush hour
