I spend most of my time on TSW on the Rail Journeys and trying to get Gold on every single one for the routes I own. This specific one however as taken me quite a few attempts and this last run I did I was 10 AP away from getting Gold even though I had a perfect run! (no speeding, getting 30 AP every time). Is there some sort of strategy I'm missing or is it actually impossible to get Gold? (see screenshot below)
Best you refer to this thread, it´s quite a list: Services & Scenarios In Which Gold Cannot Be Achieved As a workaround you can drive a bit more back and forth between signals (don´t SPAD) to add 30 points every 400m driven. And yes, it is as stupid as it sounds. EDIT: Bingo!
You must be the "new kid on the block". DTG isn´t exactly famous for fixing things. The link to the thread above reveals that this scoring system is beyond screwed up and would need a complete rebuild. I´d say it´s highly unlikely that they will do something about it, not even if it could cure cancer. And yes, if you´re a completionist, the only workaround *I* know of (!) is what I´ve described above. I don´t know on what platform you are, if on PC there might be a ´mod` for that. But if you´re on console ..... well, then welcome to the club of the helpless.
