I know, I know, A VERY old piece of DLC but I figured I'd buff up the German collection with the add-on locos Im missing, the BR187 being one of them. This was an add-on for the the Koln-Aachen Route for TSW2 made compatible with TSW5. Upon initial trying out, so far being just the tutorial... But I noticed something was VERY amiss. No cab sounds, like switches or levers or buttons being pressed. No German voice whenever you pressed the PZB/LZB switch or AFB etc. No Cab door sounds... No sounds coming from the rails as the train travelled over them, no "clickety clack", when running over track joints or junctions. No "menu" sounds, such as the sound for when you complete a task in a scenario or tutorial. Basically ALOT of sounds are missing from the DLC, rendering it heavily immersion breaking, not to mention very brief in terms of how to make the thing even move (granted tutorial), it chucks you into the deep end even in its scenarios expecting you to remember off the bat. Not sure what I think of this DLC at all... tempted to sack it and claim a refund. But I want to know, if there is anyone else suffering the same issues? Im an Xbox player (Series S console), Im curious on whether PC players have issues too for this piece of DLC.
Refund, mate. Along with the DB 204 well known as about the worst DLC in game. Abandonware now so far as DTG are concerned. It will never be fixed.
I learned a long time ago that you only have to buy dlc from German rolling stock if it is made by TSG. Well, also if it's made by DTG (which will actually also be made by TSG as a third party developer) Everything else is rubbish.
I'm with Him ^^^^^ If I could, I would REFUND ASAP, by the time I realized how bad this is, it was too late to refund. Now there are a few mods made on the TSC mod pages, but they are not enough to bring this Loco up to snuff. The DB 204, I kind of like this shunter.
Refunding on PlayStation Store is more difficult than playing pool billiard with a rope. If you got the 187 at a GREAT discount, it can still serve as AI if you ignore the nasty sounds and the wrong headlights Or maybe as static stock in the yard. Or maybe, argh, I don't know... Wait a second, is Skyhook not getting cool these days? MML and stuff seems all decent now. How about a free REMASTER of the 187? I am sure the forum would be willing to help with any info and comments needed.
Yep... Think it's too late now for me unfortunately. Appreciate the responses though Guess I've now to suffer, but it does make I guess for more variety on the routes it's present on.
I second this. I really like the loco (the real one, mind) and therefore don't regret getting the dlc cheap to encounter it sometimes. Driving it, though...
