Hello, I’ve found getting content for tsw terribly difficult. Keys online are non existent, the dlc itself is quite expensive. I don’t mind buying the odd one at full price but it would be nice to have a proper Xbox sale now and again and not this game pass discount. Having just ten percent off dlc is a big turn off. You are more likely to get better sales numbers with either 20-25% off or if you can’t do that do periodical sales with some really good deals. Cmon dtg can we give the Xbox some love?
The problem with Xbox is that it's Microsoft being them and not DTG. DTG needs Microsoft approval to make sales. It's not the same on other platforms
Im not sure that makes sense? Microsoft have several big sales and a few publisher spotlight ones. Nearly everything has been on sale as i regularly monitor them. Why would tsw be an exception unless dtg don’t want to? And I can only think of that was the case it’s because they’ve already committed to gamepass availability of the base game and four routes.
Probably because DTG is a small potatoes dev and doesn't get the same attention as say a Ubisoft or similar large company.
Think it has something to do with game pass. I’ve noticed the games on game pass never really have anything more than 20% whereas on PlayStation there quite a lot of times when there’s like 50% off
That's the thing. Each platform is different and allow sales based on whatever internal reasoning. As mentioned above, it may also have something to do with the game being on GamePass where there is that permanent 10% discount. Unfortunately there's never been any proper reveal as to why there are so few sales and maybe DTG isn't even allowed to talk about it. As it stands you'll usually see at least one larger sale per year and more recently a few smaller mini sales. Yes it is frustrating as you see frequent sales on Steam for example, but really nothing can be done about it. Just be patient I guess. When I used to purchase routes I would do so once a year in July where I usually saw a larger route sale.
I'll be keeping notice of sales over the next year, now Focus have purchased them. Focus get LOTS of sales on all their published titles.
Most of / all of TSW content is already 10% off if you’re subscribed to Game Pass. So really for most people it’s always on sale. I’m guessing this is why Microsoft is reluctant to do any proper sales.
I think when people talk sales it’s more around about 40%-60% & above what people get glad for about £2-£4 off and the difference between a sale and normal price may aswell be the the same, I don’t think anyone not on a strict budget would refuse cause the price is £2 higher or be overall glad for £2 off just the same
Yes I understand but it explains why Microsoft probably aren’t doing any bigger sales, they already aren’t selling DTG products at RRP. I think Snowrunner is much the same, to name another.
Can’t believe the sales ps5 have at the moment! I own both platforms but won’t be double dipping. Wish Xbox had something similar 10% off is pointless.
