Either due to manual application or PZB trigger, I found no way either. I tried every sequence of reverser putting in and out, turning the key on and off, applying and releasing the brakes again, pressing the brake release and charge buttons, applying and releasing the emergency brake via the big red valve, even resetting the battery, to no avail, the train won't move after an emergency brake application. Is there a secret button that I am missing?
Put the pantograph up (even if it's already up) and close the MCB again. Works for me every time I 'stall' a German electric.
You need to move this switcher to any position, up or down, and brake will be released, when you start to move.
I’m sure the 112 is one of the German locos where you put the brake handle back to release then nothing but wait a few second’s for it to sort its self out. and the afb speed throttle handle back to zero to release the interlock
Yes, I would normally do that. But on the Hamburg-Lubeck route, after an emergency stop by the PSB system, this was the only option that helped me. I share my experience.)
Normal procedure would be to press "PZB release" when you've come to a halt and release the brakes. Nothing more. You should be in 1000Hz restricted mode then (max 45 km/h). (real procedure is you need to support the emergency by putting the brake lever to emergency too so the valve is not trying to compensate the brake pipe pressure drop by pumping in air, and sanding.)
I'm not arguing with you, but the problem is that apparently this is a BUG, and standard procedures do not work on this locomotive. The man faced the problem of restoring the brakes, just like me. And I found only such a way out of this situation. And I am generally familiar with the procedures)
You don't need that switch, I've just tested. (PC/Steam, TSW3) Emergency triggered: - Move Brake Handle to Emergency to support Emergency braking - Selector Speed Off - After stopping, press PZB Release - Brake handle to Release - Loco is ready to move again. This is prototypical and it works in TSW3. DTG got it right here. Only if you have not applied a supporting Emergency Brake Application, then apply and release the brakes or use the "Überbrücken" switch. Because with the valve still being in release position after Emergency, it will not refill the brake pipe automatically, unless it is "unlocked" by moving the handle. Tested on Hamburg-Lübeck BR 112.1. No bug.
