I just rebuilt my PC (long sad story) and have finally got everything up and running again. Of course I'm at a blank slate as far as TSW2 is concerned. This means every route I go into I get forced into the mandatory tutorials and where a route has journeys I have to do all the intros before I can do the real journeys. Is there any way around this short of actually doing them all? I searched but could not find anything. Paul
Admittedly I play on ps4 but if you get in that intro journey if you just pause and quit then it will take you to the main route screen for timetable and scenarios. Edit: fixed I'd to if
Sadly I don't think there is. So you have to sit there being told you have, "Just gained some AP", instead of cracking on with the game.
Also if you look in game settings on ps4 there is a setting called auto load journeys and by default it's on so if you have the setting on pc set it off.
Disabling auto load only stops the journey from loading on subsequent plays. You cannot disable that first introductory look.
Get to the pause menu by pressing escape, and click 'main menu'. There's no way to flat out disable it but you can 'skip' it.
What if you have forgotten how to look up, down left or right? This could be an important leaning exercise
Lol, thanks everyone. I didn't know you could escape out of them. At least that's better than having to actually do them and finding creative ways to bugger them up to make them interesting
Yes. Under Settings, turn off "Autoload Journey." Then instead of being forced into something, you are taken to the selection menu and you can drive whatever you want.
Unfortunately auto journey does not apply to the first route introduction, you're forced into that regardless of the setting for every route. You also cannot get to the "real" journeys in Clinchfield without first completing all the training journeys. Paul
I fine with doing the route introduction, it's being forced fed doing everything else. When you rather do things in the order you would prefer to do them in.
Yeah I like to do things in the order I feel like too - definitely good thoughts there. I sometimes look at a particular part and perhaps its in the evening and its going to take 1.5 hours but there is another that will take 30 minutes. I like to use the little time I have for gaming wisely.
