Hello, I have designed a ScotRail class 323 on the liver designer and uploaded it onto creators club and it was removed for offensive language. All what I did was just put the ScotRail logo on (what looks trash) and the labels on the description and just put a title saying ‘ScotRail class 323’ I don’t see any copyright or anything.

The word class contains another word the zealous profanity filter guns for.

It has the word *ss in it in the word class. So you can't have any bad words in it no matter if it's part of a word or anything

I put another one on with a class 314 in West Midlands and I used class then, it’s all one word

I find it amusing that the offending word is actually an American slang expression with several meanings, most of which are not really that vulgar these days.

In British parlance, I thought it was just another name for a donkey, which of course is a sacred icon in DTG culture. ;)

    "Otra" is an offensive word?

This has been an ongoing issue since CC was created. I mentioned it in Technical reports months and months ago because I tried to create a scenario with Christmas in the title and got rejected because mas sounds vaguely like ass. Matt promised to look into it at the time.

When I downloaded the tees Valley route it wouldn't let me use the word "Saltburn" in the title of my own custom scenario, go figure

Matt's promised to "look into things" so many times that whenever he says something like that my brain mentally blocks out whatever follows.

Surely the simple answer is to remove the profanity filter and introduce a reporting system for anything that has been compiled to be blatantly out of order. That aside, surely whoever oversees the system could take 5 mins to compile an exception list but it seems at times DTG are just too darn idle.

its because you have used the word Scotrail in the title. Not Class. Most Scotrail titles are being removed off the store. Even DTG's Adam 395 Intercity Scotrail livery was not allowed on Creators Club!!!

To confirm: this will be the reason. Creators Club uses a separate profanity filter than the in-game livery designer, so when uploaded you should be able to use words like 'Class', or 'Scunthorpe' - or, if you're feeling particularly risqué, 'Penistone'.

Glad to be of service ;). I helped write the list of things to 'allow', so had some fun laughs with it.

Oh, I can confirm 'Cockfosters' should work too.

In summary, it is ScotRail which is the problem because ScotRail hasn't allowed their brand to be used on CC so DTG will take down any mod with the word ScotRail in the title or description ;)

Just as TrainGeek08 said. It's due to copyright. Sadly had to bite that bullet a time or two. :|:|:|

There’s a place in Aberdeenshire called Cockburn. I wonder if that will be allowed. Haha
