I think it's good, way better than a lot of other games I follow. Luke does a great job from what I can tell. Edit: That said, I think Jay was a very good community manager too, so voting yes on this poll feels pretty akward.
I feel that Luke is doing the best he can considering how overwhelming it can be at times. There is always room for improvement in the communications.
The impression I get is that DTG are putting people in this position with their hands somewhat tied. Communication has never been good, regardless of who is the face of DTG is at the time, so I see the problem with DTG rather than the community manager. I'm not going to vote because I don't think it's very fair (nor does it serve much of a purpose) to compare people without knowing what's going on behind the scenes.
Luke started off well but appears to have been sucked into the standard DTG "Say nothing meaningful and don't post much in response to moans" attitude. I'm sure he reports back on the mood and moans of the various forums but is firmly corralled from saying anything meaningful most of the time. It doesn't help that he seems to be covering both TS18 and TSW both here and on Steam plus who knows where else, writing reports to on high and presumably trying to get blood out of the stone that is DTG.
