Is The Sun Exploding Here Or Is The First Order Messing Around

So I was driving on Isle of Wight and we’ll got to Ryde esplanade and well the sun is I’m not sure it’s either going supernova or the first order from Star Wars is using their super weopen

 

betelgeuse gone supernova? And rivet can see this being light years ahead of the game?
