Is There A Reason Why The Lustenau Branch In Vorarlberg Route Doesn't Go To Switzerland?

So when I was looking at the route map for the upcoming Vorarlberg S-Bahn route, I noticed that in real life the S3-Line ends one stop after Lustenau, as it crosses the border to the town of St. Margrethen in Switzerland. However in TSW4 the route ends at Lustenau, and doesn't include the last kilometer of the line. I'm curious of what is the reason for this choice. Is it a licencing issue perhaps?

It looks like they are only doing the S1 & S5. Neither of these goes to Switzerland.

I would say likely licensing. They would need to get permissions from the Swiss government I would assume.

I also wonder about that. At least the S3 would only need one station but I guess due to licensing it’s not possible.

I do wonder a lot more why they didn’t repaint the Br182 and the DB IC coaches to get Austrian IC services onto the route- which are quite often seen here?

Probably so they could include it on another gameplay pack in the future. For Antelope they could reskin the MP36PH-3C, and the HST for Peterborough to Doncaster.

maybe- but a Railjet would have been the better option for such a pack

Maybe they will come- as one of the loco bundle packs for 5,99€? That would be cool though!

On a related note, I wonder why Lindau-Reutin seems to be missing from the tsw4 route map. Have I missed anything with respect to that or was it left out by mistake?

I think the route is set a few years back when Lindau Reutin didn’t exist- that would also explain the older more classic livery of the Talent 1
