I have a Razer Turret wireless mouse/keyboard. It uses a USB dongle for both the mouse and the keyboard. It is an Xbox licensed accessory but fundamentally its a normal mouse and keyboard and works on PC or PS5. On my Series X with TSW it works normally, when you have it plugged in both the mouse and keyboard work. On PS5 the keyboard seems to work as normal in TSW but I can't figure out how to get the mouse to do anything. Is there some trick to using a mouse on PS5? On other games with this keyboard/mouse I haven't had issues getting the mouse control to work, it seems to detect it as soon as plugged in.
There is no mouse support for TSW on consoles. That being said pretty much the only functions not available while using the keyboard is moving the camera and directly interacting with in world items. I would love to see it but I don't think it's a high priority for them to implement, despite how simple it probably is to do.
The mouse definitely works on Xbox... but that said the implementation is not great, you can move the camera and click some buttons but anything that needs you to swing a lever (like moving the reverser) didn't seem to work. Maybe it wasn't intentional that it works. On PS5 it just doesn't recognize it at all, no camera movement or anything. Keyboard works fine. I agree with you though that the keyboard is the more important thing. Keyboard + controller is mainly what I use but I was curious about the PS5 mouse thing.
