Let’s say I created an east to west running route and I want to instead change the layout to run north-south or the opposite west - to east in terms of where the sun would be rising/setting. Is that even possible?
I am guessing what you ask for doesn’t exist. You are laying assets over a series of square tiles. The computation required to ensure that every asset is correctly vectored to a new tile and location would be challenging especially with routes having 100,000+ assets. Best to get the layout right first time. If I am using a CAD package I can take all of the nodes and rotate. With the TSC product you would creating a different array of tiles and potentially deleting other tiles. It is not as simple as rotate, you would be changing the whole structure of the Route files.
Technically yes, but I wouldn't know how personally, I'm sure with some code you could probably automate a rotation of all the assets / track etc, but in order to do so it would probably take a long time to come up with that code (as in years), so quicker to just do the track again.
