You will need to tell us what trains you want and the liveries.
There is a lot of third party reskins available but they just change the livery on what is available.

Armstrong Powerhouse make add-ons for TSC and those come in a verity of different liveries.
https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/ - look under Rolling Stock at the top of the page

i bought most of the enhancement packs. do they appear as AI traffic?

    and are there free reskins?

  4. Blender to 3d model your own trains
blender.org - Home of the Blender project - Free and Open 3D Creation Software

Briage to export your models into igs 'static' and ia 'animated' parts.
    Juju49 - BRIAGE (free.fr)

Useful and confusing TS Classic developers documentation. Don't forget to download the developer examples pack 'This is SUPER helpful'.

Best help that I know of is from Tony Nicholls youtube channel. Hint, watch the toy loco tutorials.

You will also need painting software for your textures such as Paint.NET, Paint Shop Pro, GIMP there are others on the market to suit your budget. Both Paint.NET and GIMP does exactly what all the paid software can do, and they are free. You would also need painting software for creating reskins, if you plan on doing your own reskins.

You can use the train in the Enhancement packs in scenarios the same as other trains you own.
The trains in a standard scenario can be changed for a different type of train.
Locoswap is a very good tool to do that https://github.com/flicard/LocoSwap/releases/tag/v1.5.1.0

You can run Quick Drive Scenarios on most routes where you choose the type of train and where you drive between.
I find it easy to look over a route and learn how each type of train handles.

On a number of Third Party sites there are repaints for a lot of different types of stock
    Have a look here https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/third-party-repository.3548/

For a person who is new to TSC and has only been on this forum for less than a month the suggestions might be a bit too much for them - I have been playing this game for 10 years and I know how files are put together but the use of things like Blender and Birage are well beyond what I know how to do.
    No offence to julianarestrepo

  6. 749006 I see what you're saying mate, I suggested Blender and Briage in case julianarestrepo may know a thing or two about using Blender itself. If not, I would suggest learning Blender 2.79b 2.79 — blender.org it's a lot more easier to learn than Blender 2.80 or higher. Briage is also available for Blender 2.79b

Those suggestions are ok if you need to make your own repaints.
For the UK and most European Railways there is a large selection of repaints available.
