I just bought TSW 3 for the Ps4 and want to buy one or a few German DlCs. My question is if there is layering on hma and Ska for the ps4 or if it's like in TSW 2?
I don't think there is layering on those routes for PS4 in TSW3. Those are TSW2 routes so will be exactly the same as they were on TSW3 for PS4.
HMA is the only german route that has no layering on PS4. Most have a cut down version of the layers. I find SKA highly entertaining with the layers from the other german routes. However, for the layers to appear you will need to purchase the majority of german routes. Someone posted a list of which routes layer onto eachother. Could be of interest to check that out first.
Ps4 players also get less ai and variety in some routes such as sos and bro. Bro doesn't have certain services too. You also get shorter consists on some freight routes such as hsc, smh and cjp I believe
For German routes, depends on what you enjoy. If you like a freight heavy route, then rsn is a decent route with the 363 and 155 as loco dlc. It's quite twisty and scenic and all that. If you like more passenger, then there's hrr that comes with a 422 and 425. Freight gets layered in and other locomotives add their own services. And you can buy the awesome 101. If you like sbahn runs, rro is an option. And you can get the g6 as loco dlc. Most German routes are quite nice. If you like variety, then there's dra (nahverker dresden). Ps4 players get 2 timetables, one with the ice and one without cuz the ice is resource heavy and was causing crashes. You get the 146, 185, 143, dosto cab car and the 442. It does cost a lot of performance, especially around Dresden. If you like tilting trains and scenic and twisty views, then dcz is a nice one. I think the ps4 gets less ai at Dresden. The route is a really well done one. Msb is not bad either. Its age shows but still a decent route. You get unique gameplay using the spessart rampe and banking locomotives. It was considered like the base route you need to get layers on all other German routes.
I want to purchase some PS4 games. Previous to just purchasing a PS4, the finest PS3 game I had played was Bad Bunny.
