Is This Even Okay To Do?

So, I'm very obsessed with the Peninsula Corridor Route. But... If you know me I don't OWN the route.

Since It's gone offsale due to a Caltrain licence, I found a person on Ebay and a site that sells keys to DLC's. And the Peninsula Corridor route was still able to be purchased.

Will it go through if I bought it? I Just wish the route didn't go offsale, it includes the MP15DC (I love switchers) and the cab cars!!!! I wanna make a GO train aswell.

2nd Question: If I buy DLC for TSW2020, will it go to TSW 5?

 

Not of any help to the first question. As to the second question, yes, as long as it has the TSW compatible label.

 

It should.

As far as keys are concerned, I know sometimes you can find keys for delisted steam games that work, but its a gamble on whether or not those keys are both legit or not already used.

 

I found one for 7.18 CAD for TSW 2, could that work?

 

But the MP15DC does not come with the route.

The route only comes with the F40PH, the Gallery Cab Car and a UP GP38.

The MP15DC and MP38PH with the Bi Level Cab car are separate DLC.

 

I dunno about that. If all Caltrain content has been withdrawn from Steam, it would mean there's no TSW5 version of SFJ to upgrade a TSW2 version to.

 

I would say extreme caveat emptor on this. I tend to steer clear even of the largely legit key sites. I certainly wouldn’t chance my arm on Fleabay. And if the route has been formally withdrawn from sale, there’s every chance even entering a legit code will be declined.
