It doesn't sound stupid. It is stupid, and downright petty. A simple Google search would have told her that they're not.
Without taking things to far... Don't simp after such people they are a waste of time and effort. She sounds like a balloon on a stick would keep her mind interested for a few hours with that type of attention span!
Sounds like you dodged a huge bullet. My wife usually just reads while I play, and mocks the AWS chimes by saying "DING!" after every ramp I pass over (or tries to poorly mimic the spoken German SIFA acknowledgement). I've been on a lot of dates and had quite a few girlfriends over the years, some have nurtured my interest in trains, some have just accepted it, but I've never been with anyone who would straight up hate on it. Someone will turn up who will either accept or share your interests, it'll just take time. That said, I also don't envy anyone dating right now either. It just seems so awful and chaotic lol.
OP, you probably got off lucky. TSW and TSC are not multiplayer games, and it is crazy if you got blocked over that regardless! Onwards and upwards
