Megasim said on his youtube channel today that the isle of wight could be 15gig so if anywhere near true how does 8½ miles of track and one tube train take up more HD space the 3 regular dtg routes?I don't know maybe rivets games had to charge extra for this route because it's so big and yet so small at the same time. Now thats a feat in itself.
How does he know this? And, if he is correct, maybe that is because it is going to be an very highly detailed route!
Change your location to NZ or AUS and the route's out already? This would be the hope rather than it being bloatware
He said he heard or read something,i'm saying it's hasn't been confirmed i'm just saying what he suggested it could be.
In that case I’m going to say it could be 986GB. It could be. It really could. Not confirmed, but it could be. Another thread based on nothing.
Ok, nvm my other post. The filesize is 2.32 GB for Xbox One (Microsoft Store). It may vary with Xbox One X assets. So this 15 GB figure is baseless speculation from people that don't know anything more than everyone else. Take YouTube channels that make such claims with a pinch of salt...especially when it hasn't officially been confirmed. https://www.microsoft.com/p/Trains-Sim-World-2-Isle-Of-Wight-Ryde---Shanklin/9PJDGV746T4H
I imagine that the message has got mixed and actually relates to the fact the update on Tuesday was 13.56GB for Xbox (due to the fact the base game fully downloads with every update). I imagine the third party here, just happened to get the update at the same time as the IoW route, meaning they had a much larger download than normal. If this was the first time they've turned the Xbox on since Tuesday, this would easily explain this.
I was referring to the streamer not yourself. I was wondering why someone would come up with a figure on a stream like that unless they had some prior knowledge that we aren't privy too? I could go on Youtube and say that it was going to be 400gb download and that I will be the next Archbishop of Canterbury then it suddenly becomes truth.
Ah okay that would make sense although you think they would investigate why a single short route with one item of stock merited such a large download. Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things.
