Xbox One Issues With Achievements

I'm having some issues unlocking achievements, and I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious.

For example, on Island Line 2022 the Tier 2 achievement says I've only completed 2 scenarios or timetables out of a required 3, but I've clearly exceeded this. The same is true of distance driven considered how much I've played this route.




Anyone know what I'm missing here? I seem unable to move the needle in any of my routes.

Also possibly related: Since I upgraded from TSW2 to TSW3 back in August last year, every route (including new ones I've bought since) continue to show as "New".



Wondering if these are known issues, or if I should raise some support tickets?

Every route perpetually showing as "New" is a known issue, has been since TSW3 launched. No word on a fix afaik.

As for your progress on achievements, did you import your profile? It's a bit random which specific achievements count progress already made on your TSW2 save, and which do not.

OK, good to know this is a common issue and not just me.

It was a while ago, so I can't remember the process when I moved from TSW2 to TSW3. I think I just signed in to my DtG account and it ported over the achievements.

The issue I'm having though is none of my activity since upgrading to TSW3 seems to register towards the achievements. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue, and whether there's a recommended workaround?

 

what you're talking about here AREN'T achievements but Mastery requirements. Achievements and Mastery are 2 different parts of the game and as far as Island Line goes I wouldn't worry too much about how long it's taking to count scenarios you've done or the distance you've travelled on foot because right now 9 months after release there still isn't an overlay available once you've completed those requirements. You could always try starting a new driver profile on the same Dtg profile and see if it unlocks there as it may have messed up when transferring your TSW2 driver info into TSW3

 

Thanks for the correction, you're quite right. The terms I think I should be using were "mastery requirements" and "mastery rewards".

Using the screenshot as an example for IOW 2022, based on my progress I should have met the mastery requirements to obtain the tier 2 award, which I think is an out of service train in one of the bay platforms. Yet, my progress seems to be frozen.

I'll have to think whether I want to start my current progress from the start

 

Just try this route on another drive profile. No need to totally start again. I had the same issue in TSW 2 but it eventually sorted itself.
