Hello everyone! I would like to suggest another Italian commuter-focused expansion centered around Naples (Napoli Campi Flegrei is the second most important station, after Napoli Centrale, this one is not in any of the requested routes) as a main hub, featuring several highly realistic and busy regional routes. I have chosen to propose Naples because they have so many routes! Train Sim World really needs Italy, and Naples with these lines would be the PERFECT place to start. I’d love to see a Napoli Campi Flegrei centered commuter network, bringing some of the busiest and most realistic Italian regional operations into the game. Proposed Routes: Pozzuoli – Napoli San Giovanni Barra (Line 2) Pure urban intensity: frequent stops, packed trains, non-stop action. Perfect for high-frequency commuter gameplay. Napoli Campi Flegrei – Caserta A classic regional corridor mixing suburban traffic with longer-distance services. Napoli Campi Flegrei – Salerno One of the most iconic southern Italian routes: major stations, coastal scenery, and fast regional runs. Napoli Campi Flegrei – Villa Literno Heavy commuter traffic, junctions, and peak-hour chaos — ideal for immersive timetables. ETR 104 “POP” Modern EMU used on regional and suburban services across Italy. High acceleration, wide doors, and driver-only operation make it perfect for dense commuter routes. It is mostly used on the route Pozzuoli-Napoli San Giovanni Barra, but also in Napoli Campi Flegrei-Villa Literno route. Jazz (ETR425/ETR526) Versatile regional EMU available in electric and diesel versions. Comfortable, reliable, and widely used on medium-distance regional lines. TAF (Treno ad Alta Frequentazione) Double-deck EMU designed for high-capacity commuter services. Very common around major cities, ideal for rush-hour gameplay with heavy passenger loads. Mostly used on Napoli Campi Flegrei-Caserta route. Minuetto (Diesel & Electric variants) First-generation modern regional multiple unit in Italy. Operates both electrified and non-electrified lines, offering classic regional driving experience. Very similar to the Jazz Train, like an older brother. This train is mostly used on Napoli-Villa Literno Route. These are the main stations (only line 2), along with the other stations in Italy has everything Train Sim World does best: Dense traffic, complex hubs, iconic scenery, and non-stop commuter action. A Naples-based network would deliver metro-style intensity, regional depth, and unforgettable atmosphere: from underground city tunnels to coastal views with Mount Vesuvius in the background. This isn’t just another route... If you’d like to drive packed commuter trains, manage busy hubs, and experience a side of European railways still missing in TSW… this is it. Thank you for reading this, if you would like to know more about this please don't hesitate to post a comment.
