Treno FS ETR.500 This sector has a high variety of different trains in the network. Everything from commuter trains to long-distance trains use this track. This sector has got High speed trains, regional trains and Cargo trains Milano - Bologna Milano Centrale - Bologna Centrale. https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrovia_Milano-Bologna In this route we can find: ETR 103/104 (POP) It is an electric, single-deck, 3 (ETR 103) or 4 car (ETR 104) train, equipped with 4 traction motors, is part of the Coradia Stream family, travels at a maximum speed of 160 km per hour and has superior acceleration. 20% compared to the previous generation (Jazz train). The spacious carriages offer large seating areas for medium-term journeys typical of regional and inter-regional service, while single or longitudinal seats and easy access in the vestibule area are suitable for short-term journeys typical of suburban service. The seats are equipped with power sockets for PCs, tablets and mobile phones, the lighting is optimized thanks to large windows that allow greater entry of natural light. Passenger movement is optimized thanks to wide corridors compliant with UIC567 and suitable for people with reduced mobility. The comfortable temperature levels are maintained thanks to an enhanced air conditioning system, the structure and insulation of the aluminum case, in fact, help to improve thermal insulation and decrease the cooling times of the travelers' environment during the summer and of heating during the winter season, finally the sensors for monitoring the carbon dioxide level allow you to adjust the quantity of fresh air coming from outside. The train is equipped with an information system integrated with Trenitalia's ground infrastructure and offers an audio-video information and entertainment service with numerous LCD displays on each vehicle visible from all areas, a Wi-Fi network accessible to passengers and on-board personnel, the safety of passengers is guaranteed by a system of digital video surveillance cameras with display on the monitors in the compartments of the images taken. A passenger counting system will allow for the real-time balance of passengers on board. The new regional trains comply with the environmental sustainability policy, are 95% recyclable and consume 30% less energy than the previous generation. The air conditioning and ventilation systems are regulated according to the number of passengers, the closing of the doors is programmed to avoid heat dispersion and the LED lighting for the passengers adjusts automatically based on the light external. The regional trains have modular interiors, there may be trains with extra luggage racks that will occupy the space of 4 seats and a snack dispenser, in fact the Pop train will be the first regional train to have snack dispensers. ETR 421/521/621 (Rock) These are electric trains of modern conception for regional services, built in compositions of 4, 5 or 6 boxes, characterized by distributed traction and a double deck configuration. They can reach a maximum speed of 160 km / h and a maximum acceleration of 1.10 m / s². About 1,400 people can be seated on board, with over 700 seats in the longest composition. The Rocks, together with the Vivalto double-decker trains, are intended to renew the rolling stock of Italian regional transport and in particular to replace the old "Casaralta" double-decker carriages, set aside by Trenitalia in early 2020 and which will be set aside by Trenord in the following months. Each box is characterized by four passenger compartments, two central arranged one in correspondence with the lowered floor and one on the upper floor and two lateral ones arranged at an intermediate height, above the trolleys. The passenger stations are equipped with seats arranged both frontally and laterally and are all equipped with electrical and USB sockets. Security is guaranteed by a closed-circuit surveillance camera system and an automatic fire-fighting system with smoke detectors. The train is equipped with two toilets, located in the head and tail carriages; There are also spaces dedicated to the disabled with equipped doors, areas dedicated to strollers and prams and bicycle racks with sockets for recharging electric bikes. Journey information is displayed on the carriages' internal monitors and on the yellow LED external displays on the fronts and sides. The entry and exit doors, in a lowered position flush with the quay, are single-leaf sliding. The first train in commercial service is carried out on May 31, 2019 between Bologna and Parma with ETR 521 n.004, although the maiden journey with the authorities takes place on June 14, 2019. On 3 September 2019, the first four-member train, classified ETR 421, is transferred from Reggio Calabria to Bologna San Donato, which is also the first train delivered by the Hitachi Rail plant in Calabria. On 12 October, the first train destined for Trenord, the ETR 521 n.024, was presented at Hitachi Rail in Pistoia, and on 15 October it was sent to Bologna San Donato to begin testing before regular exercise; while Trenitalia has nicknamed these trains Rock, Trenord has kept for them the Caravaggio name used by Hitachi. On May 18, 2020, the construction of the first 6-car train, classified ETR 621, was completed. Since entering service, Trenitalia's trains have adopted the DPR livery (the first region to receive them was Emilia-Romagna, followed by Liguria, Veneto and Piedmont), while Trenord's trains use the company's social livery. The first Trenord service on which the Caravaggio's were employed was, starting from January 2020, the S11 line of the Milan suburban railway service; it connects the stations of Rho, Milano Porta Garibaldi and Chiasso, but the journeys made with the new trains are limited to the Como San Giovanni station because the trains exceed the limit gauge allowed in the "Monte Olimpino" tunnel, which connects Como and Chiasso which should be the subject of adaptation work by 2025. Treno FS ETR.500 - 1000 Frecciarossa is a high-speed train of the Italian national train operator, Trenitalia, and a member of the train category Le Frecce. The name, which, if spelled "Freccia rossa" means "Red arrow" in English, was introduced in 2009[1] after it had previously been known as Eurostar Italia. Frecciarossa trains operate at speeds of up to 300 km/h (190 mph). Frecciarossa is the premier service of Trenitalia and competes with italo, operated by Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori. Italo Italo is the brand with which the private company Italo - Nuovo Trasporti Viaggiatori promotes its high-speed services. To carry out its services, the company has 25 Alstom AGV 575 high-speed trains and 22 Alstom ETR 675 (Italo EVO) high-speed trains.
I highly doubt they will take in in consideration, as this route is over 200 km long, but it would be very cool if DTG produce it!
Magaaaaariiii.
