Issues with the West Coast Main Line South release on PC. Issues with Isle of Wight release on consoles. Issues with Munich - Augsburg release on consoles. Issues with the store during Monster Sale. All in the space of a month! It doesn't appear that anything is going smoothly at the moment.
Isle of Wight feedback has quickly been acknowledged by Rivet so hopefully something will be done about that fairly soon.
Perhaps, but it hasn't stopped me playing. What works is good and the rest can be sorted out later. Nothing is really game breaking. For some the glass is always half empty.
As The Queen would say, it has been an Annus Horribilis all round. Surely, things can only get better?
As a PC player I have been shielded from these problems, apart from WCMLS, which was a car crash of a stream on release day. I still haven't bought it yet, mainly as I don't have the spare cash at the moment. I.O.W for me was a good release and I will purchase Munich Ausburg at some point when funds allow. Some people on the PS4 forums seem to be quite happy with the extra layers and seem to be putting up with any reduced performance, others obviously quite rightly are not happy but if it appears to be caused by these extra layers it should be resolved. In glass half full mode, I have spent too much of my life being pessimistic, at least DTG seem to be more communicative when these issues arise, where as before it may have been a few days before they even acknowledged it! I am sure they will fix it, if TSW is proving so popular on console then they will not want to anger the console community.
Lets hope we don't have to add to the list Issues with Munich - Augsurg on PC too later today when that drops!
