They said this on the first day when they announced it. Along with the suspension system being delayed on trains other than the 323.
They simply misunderstood meaning of "to be released features" nad "dreamed about features" ... not a big deal as for DTG BTW for me TSW4 will begin with initial 2 stars on ms store (from tsw3 review), then mathematically I will do a list of pros (new features, trains etc) and cons (broken/not fixed features form tsw3, etc) each one will be one star up or down, I will do my best to make review as objective as possible. Being fan of trains, simulation, worthy promises, proper updating and pantos up I will do my best.
How is it a "dreamed" about feature? They've shown the formation designer, and they've shown the Suspension working, and it will work on the 323.
I think because of past experience you never really know what you're going to get with DTG. In a few weeks or months you may just end up with an apology saying we really tried, but we couldn't get it working so we're dropping it. Perhaps not the case this time, but you have to understand why people would be weary of these kinds of creeping announcements.
I'm super stoked for suspension system. The adhesion system that tsw3 uses was a nice upgrade in train feel and suspension physics will be even more so.
My solution? Just spawn some random locos and wagons on a route and boom! I have a custom contist to use. I will mainly do that on the Antelope Valley Line with the UP locals (or BNSF locals too if they ran there irl) and maybe with some other stuff!
Well they have also shown the editor back in the days, yet look at how many years it took to finally release, so... At this point don't believe anything that DTG says unless it's right in front of you, released, working.
You really that desperate to try and get likes voted up by telling us something they announced from day one. Try and come Up with something we don’t know
According to road map formation designer is to be successfully implemented within 3 months... Three months is a speed light for DTGs development, so highly unlikely they put in motion all of these "dreamed" features. (Maybe you don't know this - In March they will cease the tsw4 efforts focusing on "brand new" tsw5, you know... rain 3.0, free roam 2.0, and finally working formation designer 1.0 ;D and yes more ease of access).
