January Roadmap

Good Morning people,

I was looking through Dovetail’s articles and noticed a lack of January roadmap. Am I correct here or did I miss it?

If one does exist, can someone send a link please?

There was/is no january roadmap, announced in December's roadmap, with the festive holidays and extended staff leave, very little would have changed, so February is the next one

Should be second week in Feb. Because Railfest is happening next week.

And I am sure we will have at least one major route announcement (US) and probably more detail of Goblin and Austrian line.

There is never a January Roadmap. Squeezed out by the holidays and Railfest

 

funny part is if they did one all they can put in is nothing changed we were on break, maybe they should do one and see the reaction, nobody can say then one was missed

 

Well, the next roadmap should give somekind of indication on how much life TSW4 still has? I mean, there was "only" two routes on the last roadmap's "6+months" schedule.

 

I think that's it for TSW4 and all we are going to get.
It looks like DTG made a decision to release a new version every year, similar to other franchises.

 

I fear so as well. Would love to be wrong, though. But it's a circle of diminishing returns, I feel. Generally I've stopped buying all the yearly sports/simulation games ages ago. Like how I used to buy every Forza Motorsport back in the day and a couple of the Horizon games as well, when looking back at it I could have skipped many of them and saved a lot of money (same for their DLC). At least those games had a bi-yearly release schedule, which should be the minimum for TSW as well.

 

February Roadmap will probably be on Tuesday February 13th.

Now cancelled a Q and A now on the 13th, which follows a progress update on Sunday 11th.

There Is plenty going on SD40, until February 12th for TSW and TSC. Looking forward to Dovetail Direct on the 11th and hopefully a date announcement of the new expected releases.

The long awaited US (I believe/speculate freight through mathematical deduction ie in every 3 route US routes there is one freight route) route, UK route DTG which is Goblin, German Austrian route and the ATS UK route. Union Workshop as well should be due sometime in the next few months. Maybe.
