    Hi all

if anyone is interested in this it is on sale on PlayStation at the moment 50% off and also on Steam 70%. Not sure about Xbox. I picked it up this week and did a first look and a full run of the line. It’s actually quite enjoyable

Not really into video clip sims, just too many limitations on what they can do.

I'm kind of interested in it. Would love to hear a few more opinions or a little more from people who posted in the thread.

It's basically where you control a video. The developers recorded the trip from the front cab and sounds so you are controlling the video. It's pretty steep at the same price as many triple a titles.

Video sims are/were popular in Japan. It's not something that has ever taken off in the west - but occasionally someone will try

I’m not really a fan of video recorded lines with a camera that what makes it unique but honestly there’s one type of Japanese train simulator worth the try it’s Densha De Go series, sadly it’s only available as an import and I had to spend 100€ for the PS4 version which is Yamanote Line, being a fan of that series as well it’s quite a unique and fun experience

I have just added this to wishlist but noticed on steam that it does not support English language, but having played the I imagine it cannot be much different to play.

Maybe it is marked this way because it isn't completely translated, but screenshots on the store page show it does have English language. It should be playable even if descriptions and trivia for the stops aren't translated (I guess that's included in the game, similarly like it is in Journey to Kyoto).

So I bought the PS version on sale a couple of days ago and I like it. It’s not as complicated as TSW, but it’s fun for me. (I’m over 70.) I will note that for me it’s hard to watch the scenery because you have to keep your eyes on the track to make the precise stops. But again I like it.
