Good morning everyone - We’ve just started a brand new official Dovetail Discord today, completely free to join for everyone who wants to hear the latest news from our teams, get unique rewards in our Discord community, and be involved in exclusive Discord events with our teams!

For those new to Discord, you can sign up for a free account and join a community with both players and developers that work directly on Train Sim World, from Dovetail Games and our third-party development teams. You’ll get all your news in one place, choosing which of our games you want to get involved in, with alerts for when we go live with news, articles and content. You can also get direct support and Q&A from our teams, so for fans of Train Sim World, it’s a great chance to ask any questions you have leading up to the release of TSW6. Why have you created a new Discord server?
While we enjoy being part of the current community-owned Discord spaces, we want to make sure we have a space for all our future titles. This new server gives us an opportunity to support not only Train Sim World/Classic, but also any upcoming (perhaps currently unannounced) games.

Our aim is to create a space where experienced players and newcomers alike can connect and engage with us more directly. We’ll also be using new features to help us improve moderation and make it a safe, inclusive space for everyone.

What will this new space do?
This server will act as a central hub for all things Dovetail. You’ll be able to find the latest news and updates on all of our titles in one place, as well as receive notifications for new videos, screenshots and livestreams. Something else we’ve wanted to focus on for some time is hosting community events, which will be exclusive to the new server.

It’s a space where you’re able to talk more directly with our team, ask questions and share feedback, but we’ll also be integrating support articles to make it easier to find help more efficiently. Oh, and the new Dovetail titled we announced back in July? We’ll also be adding those into this new space so be sure to join us there if you’re curious about these too!

Will you still be supporting other community-run servers?
Yes, absolutely! Our team will continue to support and engage with the existing community-owned Discord channels, as they’re still an important part of how we talk to all of you; whether that involved receiving feedback, sharing 373 memes, or being told we’ve made a typo!

We aren’t replacing these servers with our own, we’re creating a hub for all of Dovetail’s current and future titles. When starting this new server, we've partnered with familiar faces with our community moderators, who will be further involved in our new server by supporting with moderation, as well as directly working with other community leaders to make sure we're all supporting eachother.
