If a scenario or service included in a journey is completed outside of Journey mode (ie from the Scenario or Timetable mode); please allow it to be registered with a completion tick. Personally I complete the scenarios before looking at journey mode and it just means having to double up on some things if having the green tick is something you desire. I guess I can see where they are coming from in that line of thinking . After struggling to even get going in the snow in the 1st Clinchfield journey of Ch2 (CRR Extra 3016 South - Southbound Coal)...it would be a piece of cake in clear weather. Not sure what the 'other things' are other than the weather....that's the only variable that I know of.
We can force specific locos, and can set up weather settings that arent even achievable in the service mode UI because it can point to one of the internal weather assets - there's a few things that it can do. The weather is enough though really. I tend to agree that scenarios SHOULD tick in both places though, but havent been able to get that change in yet, awkward technical reasons that I don't quite follow - but at least know that I am with you
