Jumping To Top Of Page After Liking Post - Bug Or Intended Behaviour?

Whenever I click to like a post the software takes me to the top of the page again.

Is this a bug or intended behavior ?

I am using Win11 and Edge to surf these forums.

 

Doesn't happen with Firefox. I have banned Edge from my user profile, it's only active on the Admin profile as some installers rely on it.

 

Just tried it, works ok for me.
Windows 10 pro, using Edge.

 

Using Edge in Win 11 - Doesn’t do it for me.

Still need to do some testing but it seems it does not happen when the Malwarebytes extension is disabled. If that is the only work around I just have to live with it, which I can

 

I was using the Malwarebytes extension and it was the adblocker that was causing the issue for me. As it can be disabled on a per-website level you won't need to disable the whole extension. For me the trackers and malware blockers are still active.
