Roadmap is gonna either be June 4th or June 11th unless it's being changed again like I believe it was the April roadmap

It's always been stated if it's not on the roadmap it doesn't exist, and it just dawned on me that I'm not, and never have been on any of the roadmaps, this must mean I don't exist, I've been a figment of my own imagination for nearly 45 bloody years.........

I like how the thread title is "June Roadmap", yet the thread not even has closely touched anything about discussing the components of the actual June Roadmap. Instead some people being confused about the actual date and others making fun of it. Let's see where this further leads into.

But the question asked about the June roadmap is when it is/ when people think it is. Nowhere has anything been mentioned about this thread being for content predictions: well until now anyway.
I assume that it will lead to a response from you, then perhaps another from me, someone else will pipe in and then the thread will fizzle away into the deepest depths of the forum.

I don't like inprecise thread titles. When I see "June Roadmap" and there is nothing really interesting about the June Roadmap in here at post 12 as just a bit of back and forth shenanigans, I'm a bit disappointed.

This hit the spot! And is exactly the nature of any thread in this Forum, condensed in one sentence. Well done.

I do agree that perhaps the title could have been more exact, but then I suppose it is a question about the June Roadmap, so at least it isn't wrong! Personally I find a bit of shenanigans much more interesting and entertaining to read, rather than people making wild predictions getting my hopes up, even though I know they are based on nothing much.

    :D
Well there we go, very nearly reached the end of the cycle now. It were a very safe bet!

Morning everyone! :) The current intention is to share the next roadmap on June 6th - Not our usual Tuesday slot, but it felt too early being on June 4th, and a little late coming on June 11th!

l feel that there will be a release date, or maybe a couple for later in the month, otherwise it will be a very disappointing RM.

June and July roadmaps are historically boring. This is when staff have holidays and they are getring ready for either a new iteration or bundle coming out in September.

And if I remember last year they skipped July's roadmap.

Well if that's true then it suggests we might get either the Elizabethan line or the Channel tunnel.
These definitely fit the "historical bores" criteria ;)

If DTG announces a new rush hour like bundle it would be nothing near "boring".
Also they maybe have a release date for the 218 and there a multiple new projects on the roadmap, even if many are 3rd party its still not bring and empty.
I dont know why so many people have that low expectations for June and just because the ones in the years before were boring it doesnt mean it will repeat.
Otherwise i could be wrong and it will be boring af then i dont know what to say...
    We will see

They won't announce it on the roadmap. It will be a DTG live stream in August like they have done for the last 4 years.

What a coincidence, Jack - 91110 was leaving Leeds on Friday at 12:47, just as I got off my 158 from Morecambe (very scenic line, which I hadn't travelled on before).

I would like to see all the special liveries tbh. They are a relatively integral part of the 91 fleet and couldn’t take long to make relative to the length of time spent modelling the loco and rake.

Again with the TSW5 talk, really?

If, and only if it comes, it will be August/September time, if that's what is happening. Only then will anyone know.

It's every year the same. DTG said there is no new game planned. EVERY YEAR they said that.. and out of nowhere there is a game with the only difference the name.. and they will leak it before September. 2/3 months before release

It's still a matter of "if" until proven otherwise no matter what people think.

How do you know they're not going to do a rush hour style bundle as they did with TSW? You don't, and won't until it comes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but hadn't there been some compelling leaks about TSW4 by this time last year?

Personally I don't think there will be a TSW 5. "TSW 2025" maybe but I think the TSW4 platform will be the base for the game for a few years with annual releases with paid route bundles or for existing players free core and gameplay updates.

That's right. Basically the same as on TSC. They made a bundle, with a number of routes/locomotives included.
The game is always the same, and everyone can continue to download new contents, which will still work on the game. So I completely agree with Wivenswold. There will be no new TSW. Probably a new common base, which will last for a few years (TSW Definitive Edition?).
