I was sat here this afternoon supping a coffee and procrastinating for half hour as I looked through the forum. Something stood out to me, JD and his involvement in the forum as of late. Has anyone noticed how active he's been, he's jumped head first into some very challenging posts as of late and whilst we, I, others may not have agreed with all decisions and answers he's done the thing we have been crying out for in terms of communicating. Credit where credits due too , on the live streams, taking aside some bloody random tangents at times he's definitely finding the pace too. I'm not trying to win t shirts or free dlc passes etc but I thought it was important to tip my virtual hat and say thank you and keep up the good work in a more positive post than some we've likely all dipped into recently. Yes agreed, considering there was a time when we were bemoaning the lack of representation on here. I imagine, considering the tone of some recent topics moderating on here hasn't been the most pleasant experience.

Hear, hear. The increased presence has not gone unnoticed by me as well. I know things can't be solved instantly, but it nice to know our concerns are being listened to.
I totally agree with the OP. I’ve seen a suggestion on a couple of others threads that threads which criticise DTG get locked. I haven’t seen that. What I’ve seen is threads which deteriorate into slanging matches getting locked, and rightly so. I think DTG deserve credit for allowing criticism (even in cases where it’s not particularly constructive). Forum moderation is incredibly difficult, and I think the way this forum is moderated hits the right balance.
Yes, JD is definitely doing a good job. I’ve enjoyed seeing an increase in the contact he has with the community. I’ll be watching the stream tonight.
+1 to this. I'm active in another simulation (simracing) community and am well aware that we sim buffs can be a tough crowd!
Indeed chieflongshin JD is a champion. In addition to this forum he herds the kittens (Ambassadors) very well and has amazing support, patience and enthusiasm for the crazy things we get up to. Paul
Whilst still a bit too "buzzwordy" and "salesman" for my taste will agree that there have been some tough questions asked and decent forum moderation in the last couple of months.
