Hi there, everyone. Firstly, I hope we are all well and enjoying TSW5. i certainly am. So this suggestion isn't anything that isn't possible but some things I'd love to see. To start off, I'd love to see the Class 730. These are used on both the cross city line and wcml. However, due to licensing, it would be realistically able to only go on the Cross City line. Which then, like seen with the Cathcart remaster and ai layers, will allow us to have the 390 and 350 to be seen about at Birmingham New Street. Secondly, this is a route suggestion. I'd love to see another London Uunderground Route (yes, i know we already have one already. However, we already have two London overground routes). However, I'd love to see the Metropolitan Line. This is something done previously on Train Sim Classic and is by far one of the most driven routes for me on there with the S7 stock. It would bring new features when it comes to driving with being under a certain speed with some signals to be allowed through the next section of track. And it would bring a really nice underground line with also the mix of being overground and also underground as well. Thirdly, I would love to see an extension of the WCML up to either Rugby or maybe Coventry. Obviously, going to Birmingham New Street might be pushing it with the amount of stations, and ai services would be run. However, like I was saying to someone beforehand, if DTG were to do an extension, I would love to have the original core route as top notch as it can be with lighting and bugs, etc. Fourthly, still on the theme of the WCML, depending on if it's set in 2024 or 2023 or prior. I'd love to see a class 319. These from my knowledge from mainly Tring to Euston in it'd last few years of life with LNWR. Fifthly, I'd love to see the chiltern mainline. I spoke to quite a few people recently who said they would prefer a Chiltern mainline over the section of the ECML that we go. (Still a great route, may I add). This is my local route, same as WCML as I live slap bang about 3.5 miles to my nearest Chilten Mainline station and around 5 to Rugby Station. But the reason why I suggest this is 1. It's actually a really nice route; and secondly, you can introduce not one but 2 new operators (if possible due to branding) with Chiltern Railways and also CrossCountry. Chiltern mainly uses class 68s with mk coaches, 165s, and also 168s from which i have caught from Leamington Spa down to Marylebone. Then crosscountry obviously uses the Class 221s and the HSTs depending on the time period it's set in. For this suggestion, maybe a Leamington Spa to London Marylebone as this is roughly 72 miles. Also, this was a previous Train Sim Classic Route However thank you for reading this if anyone from DTG reads this and you guys have really done an amazing job with TSW5 as soon as I saw the WCML and 390 and future routes I preorderd and have been loving it even since with 150 hours already and 1500 miles on the wcml. I can't wait to see what the future holds.
I'd recommend making a separate thread for each suggestion, and put the subject in the thread title. The 730 has been suggested twice afaict. Better to give these a Like and post there to show support - DTG will judge by that and won't count the number of different threads suggesting the same.
The Class 730 seems to be somewhat popular and hopefully is at least being considered for the near future along with a BCC timetable update to increase the AI at Birmingham New Street to include the Class 350s and 390s. As for London Underground, the next route, if any, should be either Metropolitan, District or Circle Line to bring the S7/S8 stock which has multiple uses as AI on existing routes. Otherwise the Central Line with 93 stock is a good choice with AI opportunities also. The remaining lines of LUL are pretty much samey samey to the Bakerloo Line and should probably be done later on so that we get some variety.
