This is a great idea, it has been discussed many times on here so the community want an extension made to Bristol, Oxford etc. If JT were to make the extension, in my opinion, they'd do the Berks & Hants route through Newbury, Bedwyn, Pewsey to Taunton as they did for TSC but you never know... they could go to Bristol instead
Well, that is an option, just based off what they did in TSC, may as well do in TSW but like I said, they could do Bristol though
Excellent idea but you should make Class 166 as Layer from GWML London Paddington to Reading 2015 version with HST & Class 66. For the route itself make 345 387 800/802 standard and freight a class 70.
This still neglects to address the missing branch lines of the existing route. They really should be included at some future stage. Otherwise a superb idea.
Or it could be to Cardiff Central or just an extension to it with more trains the 387 and 800 would go perfect with it but yes cross fingers its Bristol Temple Meeds
Since Reading-Paddington is already in game I would suggest Swindon-Newport, including Bristol TM and Parkway, which would allow 385s to run the entire route over Badminton as well as 800 (diesel mode) terminating services through Chippenham and Bath to Bristol TM. Also 166s run from Bath through Bristol TM to Parkway towards Gloucester and would have the added feature of having to change ends at BTM. Also stopping services from Newport through to Bath using Patchway and Severn Tunnel Junction (and Pilning twice a week)
