Only two parts I haven't got and that's the roundhouse and the buxton/peak forest, not really bothered about the roundhouse which is why I still haven't got it, but I forgot all about the buxton/peak forest extension, unfortunately the package deals are of no use to me as I already have hope valley, the buxton + hope valley package is £19.99 whereas the buxton by itself is £21.99 great deal but still, ouch.

The complete bundle is a steal. 228 miles of MML gloriness for only 99.99. thats $0.43 per mile
Just kinda hoped they would do the complete bundle without Sheffield to Derby as i already have it, But is still tempting to complete the network

I don't have any of this route and have been contemplating on buying the Sheffield/Derby "starter" route from JT for a while now. For me the Midland Main Line Bundle is an absolute steal at just under £30.

    MML is very highly recommended.
One of my most played routes in TSC.
I do still get OOM issues sometimes, particularly on the long runs.

These bundles are similar to the GWML ones.

Have now bought the Sheffield/Derby "starter" route. Its not a route I would normally buy as its quite modern. I tend to go for the end of steam to the blue era. Having said that its a really nice route with plenty of detail and feels very atmospheric. I have completed a couple of scenarios and really enjoyed playing them. I am pleased I bought direct from JT as the extra dlc associated with this route will mesh together forming a huge connected rail network.

The base map covers all the routes but you would just have plain track in that sections you don't own
    • Buxton and Peak Forest Extension
    • Hope Valley Extension
    • Nottingham-Lincoln Extension
    • Erewash Valley
    • Derby-Nottingham-Leicester Extension
    • Derwent Valley Line
    • Barrow Hill Roundhouse Extension
The Hope Valley Extension covers both routes via Stockport and Marple - Bredbury.

    Thanks Peter,
I think the whole concept of buying the base route, then buying the extra dlc for the scenery and scenarios is a great idea. I have now bought the Buxton and Peak Forest /Hope Valley bundle, so now have a huge chunk of the MML from JT. It has burst my spends budget for this month though as I treated myself and bought a M2 SSD just for TSC at the beginning of the month

I went ahead and bought the full bundle as I owned none of the MML. Seems well worth it, except for the ground flickering in the distance. I understand it should be a skybox thing but it didn't go away when I installed AP skies either. Will keep tinkering and see what happens.

Ground flickering? Do you have Anisotropic Filter set to max (you should)?

There's a few textures without MipMaps on MML that can cause flickering too, can only be changed by editing them and adding MipMaps using a graphics tool.

I recall setting it to 2x or something, definitely not max. I'll take a look when I'm home, thanks.

I am using APSWEP+Reshade+RWEPro with Pook's preset. I had tweaked the bloom settings to the latter and forgot to re-install APSWEP on top of it. When I did re-install it the flickering finally went away. Interesting how all this only happened with MML though, had no issues on other routes.

just to add to this, the complete bundle represents a 42% Discount vs buying all the extensions individually, or if you are needing Sheffield to Derby then it represents a 52% Discount for the entire thing. Massive savings

This is a great bundle. Sadly, I think the only thing I am missing is Buxton. Hopefully the individual pieces get good discounts again, though they are never that good. Would love to get Buxton part at 42% off since that's all I am missing.

Also, note that all AI trains will work on the complete map even without the extensions. The only thing that matters is the player train, which would also function but would be an empty map. So if you have a Hope Valley scenario to Manchester, you can still see trains coming from the Buxton and Peak Valley area.
