I noticed that some of the routes in the Just Trains sale are now better priced on Steam such as:

JT £19.59 Tohoku High Speed £16.79 Steam
JT £17.49 Derby Nottingham Leicester £14.99
JT £15.39 fictional Marsdonshire £13.19 Steam

I think Just Trains would do far better by discounting all their products in a sale than just a few or compete better than Steam.

The Derby Nottingham Leicester route is £13.99 on JT if you already own Sheffield - Derby

Either way JT get a percentage of the Steam sales and all the money from their own DLC on their site.
Not sure what JT would gain from having more sales?

I think on some standalone routes like the Kyle line, if you buy it from JT you get extra scenarios that require different stock compared to the steam version which only uses the default European asset pack.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If you buy direct from JT, the newer routes such as the MML do get duplicated scenarios. These are the same scenarios as the default ones used on Steam but the default assets are swapped out to use AP locos etc and other items from JT such as the Voyager packs instead of the EU assets pack.
I'm not sure if the Kyle Line has extra scenarios when buying from JT.

This applies to many routes. Even the MML. But there is in the MML's case the problem that they can't merge. They didn't decide to make it a brand new route like DTG did when creating the original SWC, which is the folder 00000068-0000-0000-0000-000000002016 in Routes. Not like the unbranded South Wales Main Line, which is 00000068-a000-0000-0000-000000002016. In any case, the original SWC started with 00000064, so instead of making a new folder like the original Swansea extension, they just put the standalone on Steam. They could still make the MML a new folder, but it seems they want to keep the main MML folder for all extensions, hence why the files in the archive tend to reflect the entire network with each extension.

    Dresden-Leipzig is a similar example.

I have got absoloutly no idea what Cyclones comment has got to do with your question i had to read it 3 times to see if it answered your question lol.

You are correct in that the newer JT routes come with duplicated scenarios 1 uses 3rd party stuff like JT,AP stock etc etc the others are the same scenarios but that use default stock mainly kuju etc. The default ones will be labled [DEFAULT] i just remove the default ones via the editor to free up space on the menu.
