With the recent release of the class 86 and Mk2f coaches and of course the 87 and Mk3a coaching stock in the mid-80s over Shap route. It does plug a gap in rolling stock but we’re still missing modern variants of the stock that some may want like TDM multiple working, Central Door Locking, etc. I propose that JT should consider making a pack for the modern WCML South route bundling modernised versions of the class 86 and 87 featuring the newer high intensity headlight, GSM-R and crucially, a full implementation of the TDM multiple working system operating via the RCH jumper cables. As well as bundling Mk3a and Mk2f coaches again with changes to reflect refurbishments/modernisations such as CDL procedures in guard mode. To top off all stock could be painted in Intercity Swallow livery. And the final cherry on top could potentially be another new item of stock, and to make use of the TDM system, The Mk3 Driving Van Trailer to enable railtours to run push pull on the WCML South. Anyone with me on this idea? Or will this just simply lay forgotten and unacknowledged?
