What has happened to just trainz it's been a year since they joined TSW and now it's gone quiet I thought we would might have the Metropolitan Line by now. I know this is the wrong forum to put up this thread. I just want to know what is happening with just trainz
Be patient, you never know what they could be doing for tsw right now. They could be making a big route and putting lot's of effort in it. Just because there has been no announcements doesn't mean just trains aren't doing anything for tsw, you just need to be patient.
Just trains is a small team compared to dtg and come from tsc, so they have to learn everything related to the unreal engine from simugraph, how to build stuff, make timetables, etc which can several years. Whole different engine, whole different game. And they probably aren't working on their project everyday. Probably have their own other projects and such. So be patient and don't rush them since we want their first route to be great The metropolitan line as their first route is quite a bit too much honestly cuz it's got a very busy timetable and other complicated things. Not saying they can't do it but rather it's complicated to do as their first route.
If you thought we’d have the metropolitan line by now you were wrong. It’ll take time and hard work before we get anything
If it was that easy to create complex routes then many more people would do it. Routes and trains are hard enough to build in TSC, and TSW is much much more complex (according to people who do 2nd party work for the company such as Maik)
It's also there first time using all the tools so obvious there is a bit of a learning curve in how they make routes etc compared to tsc. I am happy waiting a good while for them to bring a great quality route
