Get ready for planes, trains, and suburban trains! The beautiful Rheinbahn has connected Troisdorf with Cologne via the impressive Hohenzollern Bridge and the Gremberg marshalling yard since 1874. Nowadays, the line is part of the S-Bahn network that leads out of Cologne Central Station. Lines S12, S13 and S19 drive this section. Since the high-speed route Cologne-Rhine / Main was proposed, a completely new loop has been built for the tracks. This enabled ICE trains and the S-Bahn to both approach the airport and thus offer regular connections to and from Cologne / Bonn Airport. Trains were on the 15 kilometer loop for the first time in 2004. The S13 was diverted to offer even more frequent traffic to and from the airport. You will be amazed by the new train station at the airport! Although it is actually an underground train station, it is equipped with a spanned glass roof that lets the sun shine on the 400-meter-long platforms. The S13, together with the S19, offer a 24/7 connection between Cologne Central Station and the airport. The eastern part of the S13, which leads from Cologne main station to Troisdorf and includes the airport loop, creates a round-the-clock connection for you. And of course you can also marvel at the beautiful city of Cologne with its cathedral! Also included is the complex Gremberg marshalling yard - an important location for freight traffic! So what are you waiting for? Get started and explore Cologne! Please add the Route to TSW2 like you did for TS, I would like it, it is quite short but many if you would do the High speed route Köln Rhein Main, than it will fit in perfectly
They could also sell it as some kind of "S-Bahn Köln" Add-On which adds the BR 423 (the basic model they already have) for the S-Bahn Köln with services for S 12, S 13 and S 19. The Talent 2 from SKA would also run there as well as the 406 (mostly as AI I think or do they stop at the Airport regularly?). You could argue if the 403 from HMA should be used there or if all the ICEs should be 406.
