On the new german route i was wondering what services are allowed to do 280 kmh as so far i can only go up to 250 kmh. Also what weather causes speed restrictions on the route?
In terms of speed restrictions I think it's very windy/maybe adverse weather and also depends on train. Since the ice3 is lighter, it can't go as fast as the ice1 on viaducts and stuff especially if you're going very fast.
As said above depends on the Unit/loco and what weather conditions as the LZB will change depending on conditions.
