I'm having no luck getting any key bindings to work on my master controller lever ( "A" or "D," just trying to get increase to function first.) I would have thought this would be the way to do it (even though I can't tell if this method is being used on working cooked trains: ) but nothin' yet! I keep keep seeing mentions of an "Input mapper." Is that part of the details panel for the irregular lever component in the RVM not an input mapper? I suppose it could just as easily be something deprecated that DTG left in by mistake. Why can't anything in the PC Editor be easy? That's it. I'm starving. I'm heading out for pizza.
Pizza solves everything! It turns out I had forgotten that I had named my Driver Environment "RVMDriverEnvironment" instead of the Default "Driver" (because I thought that was too non-specific, LOL.) I find it intruiging that it was already otherwise functional, come to think of it. Once I changed it to "RVMDriverEnvironment" in the details panel of the IrregularLeverComponent, wham-o! Working keybindings. (I still say it's silly just to name the Driver Environment "Driver," though.)
