Currently i'm working on DIY controller using arduino,. My project is pretty simple,. Using arduino as macro keyboard, and attach it to handle that i've built,. The Question is how to change keyboard key bound on every notch,. I'am a veteran player of Trainz Simulator series from Auran N3V Games, they had settings to change key for like 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 ... 8/8 for Throttle, TrainBrakes so on and so forth. that was si amazingz. i was able made DIY controller and tweak it so easily, ,. Maybe if dev read this,. you guys can add-that features also.
They, have a universal API for 3rdparty controllers planed, but nothing more has come out about it. As of now you would have to "press" keys for certain time to move handles a step.
