I just wanted to take a few minutes and talk about the Kingston/Plymouth line. I definitely think this line should be added to the game for sure especially with Train Sim World 6 coming out later on this year! The Kingston/Plymouth line has both the MBTA MBI HSP46 and F40PH locomotives with Bi level and single level cab cars. The line currently goes from Kingston MA to South Station in Boston MA. (The Plymouth branch was cut out a few years ago). I feel like this line would be an amazing way to show some more of the urban sides of the MBTA commuter. The line has 10 unique and interesting stops including south station and Kingston. The stops include Kingston, Halifax, Hanson, Whitman, Abington, South Weymouth, Braintree, Quincy Center, JFK/Umass, with the final stop being south station. If you’re going inbound to south station that would be the order. These stops woulf allow players to stop consecutively at stations and allows some travelling distance in between some stations as well. It has a very simple yet unique timetable as well. I’ve lived in New England my whole life and have family members who work for Keolis on the MBTA lines and they are definitely unique trains but if the Plymouth and Kingston line was added to the game, it definitely would allow players to drive, enjoy and have a true New England MBTA commuter Urban experience.
